MRI Technologist

Location

Philadelphia, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Part-Time | Onsite | 16 hours per week (two 8-hour shifts); every other Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI studies following protocols established by Radiologists
Operate the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality
Prepare the scan room and equipment appropriately prior to each procedure
Position patients, coils, and equipment as required for each study
Maintain clear and supportive communication with patients throughout the scanning procedure

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
ARRT Registered Technologist (R) certification required
ARRT Registered Technologist (MR) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in CT or MRI imaging
