Job Title: CT Technician Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience performing routine CT and CTA exams Experience with GE x-ray units and CT scanners Description: The role involves working in a Radiology Department. Imaging capabilities include CT, trauma x-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable x-ray. The team consists of a Lead Technologist and multiple Multi-Modality Technologists. The equipment utilized is GE, including all digital radiology systems. The electronic medical record system in use is Cerner/PowerChart, along with Phillips PACS. All types of CT procedures are performed, except cardiac. This includes CT guided biopsies and a full range of trauma radiology, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm cases. The ideal candidate is a friendly and considerate team player. They should have the ability to work independently as needed. Compassion towards the needs of patients and co-workers is essential.
