Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (8:00–16:30) | Weekends and on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized goals and treatment plans
• Administer speech therapy treatments, modalities, procedures, and protocols in accordance with department guidelines
• Provide accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all patient treatments
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to promote interdisciplinary collaboration
• Support and practice in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and protocols
• Assume responsibility for ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program required
• Active State of Texas Speech Language Pathologist license required prior to start (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Willingness to work weekends, on-call, and some holidays
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must pass an on-site drug screen prior to assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
• Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and follow written and oral instructions in a clinical setting
