Job Summary The Offset Printing Press Operator role is responsible for safely operating and maintaining an Offset Printing Press to efficiently and effectively manufacture folding cartons. JOB FUNCTIONS: Machine setup, adjustments and make readies Troubleshooting of machine and quality issues Assist with maintenance, machine setups, etc. Completion of required product and process audits Exchange of information with shifts prior to/following work shift Adherence to quality specifications Identification of product/process enhancements to improve efficiencies, reduce downtime & spoilage Production schedule output and timeframes Effectively leading work crew to meet production goals Attend team meetings Must be able to differentiate colors Train new team members to ensure job duties are performed efficiently and effectively Maintain a clean and safe work area Enforcing compliance with all company policies (GMP/AIB/Safety) Perform other duties, as assigned Education And Experience Must have prior printing experience as either an Operator l or Operator II with related job duties and responsibilities. In-depth understanding of printing concepts Strong mechanical aptitude General math skills Ability to troubleshoot equipment and quality issues Post-secondary education in printing technologies a plus Job Specifications Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift. Ability to work weekends and holidays.
