The Opportunity We’re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Title Clerk to manage vehicle titling and registration for our dealership group. You’ll ensure every deal is processed accurately and in compliance with state requirements — protecting the store from penalties and keeping customers’ paperwork on track. What You’ll Do Process titles, registrations, and tax/title/license paperwork accurately on every new and used deal Submit and track title work with the state and lienholders, staying ahead of every deadline Verify accuracy and completeness of deal documentation before processing — catch problems early Maintain organized records and aggressively follow up on outstanding titles and missing documents Resolve title issues and communicate clearly with sales, customers, and lenders Process out-of-state and dealer-trade titles correctly and on time Ensure full compliance with Texas titling laws, fees, and timelines The Standard We Hold We set a high bar at Grubbs. In this role, success means consistently delivering on the following: Titles processed accurately and within state timelines — no penalties or late fees Outstanding titles followed up relentlessly and cleared quickly Errors caught before submission, not after rejection Complete, compliant, audit-ready title records Clear communication that keeps deals and customers on track What We’re Looking For Automotive title clerk or DMV/registration experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of Texas titling and registration requirements a plus Familiarity with DMS platforms and general office software Highly organized, dependable, and deadline-driven Why Grubbs?
